Description

MANDARIN-The botanical name of lime Mandarin is Citrus reticulata.

ORIGIN-According to genetic studies, it is believed to have first grown in Indonesia or Southeast Asia. Arabian traders may have taken limes as well as lemons from India to the Eastern Mediterranean countries and North Africa around 1000 CE. Later on, these were introduced to West Indies by Christopher Columbus in 1493 and then distributed to Mexico and Florida.

BENEFITS– This essential oil is frequently used in perfumes, cleaning products and aromatherapy. It contains nutrient which prevents infection, protects again cold and flu, alleviates toothache, treats dandruff, prevents signs of aging and also flavours the spices.
