LEMONGRASS– The botanical name of lemongrass is Cymbopogon citratus.

ORIGIN– Lemongrass is a herb native to India and other tropical regions such as Africa, Asia and Australia which has been used traditionally for medical, cosmetic and culinary purposes. It was believed that lemongrass oil has been exported as early as the 17th century by the Philippines called as ” tanglad.”
